The fog rolled in and covered my town
And it has not lifted for over 6 days
The thickest fog that's ever been seen
Nobody can see any street lights

And nobody can drive to work
Bored kids stay home from school
I heard some neighbors screaming out loud
The TV reports cabin fever

The birds and cats can't be found
The fog has a foul putrid smell
I must walk crosstown...we need food
I'll probably get lost in this pea soup

I feel like a child in the darkness
who plays blind's mans bluff in a game
I wish I could find...could find a true blind man
To lead me through this fog back to my home
